Madelena is currently the Digital Director at StartupBus, and had previously directed our 9th and 10th annual competitions. Featured on the Startup Podcast, Nasdaq, Wired Magazine, and CBS News, Madelena has designed user experience for many startups and organizations, such as, the United Nations, Trillian, Remesh, ZocDoc, and GoGoVan. She advocates for diversity and inclusion of transgender and queer communities through StartOut and Impact Hub. No stranger to hackathons and startup competitions, she had also been awarded by the Mayor's Office of New York City at NYC Big Apps and by TechCrunch at TechCrunch Disrupt Hackathon.
A founding partner of Core X Legal, Brent C.J. Britton has been assisting entrepreneurs and technology companies of all sizes in corporate and intellectual property transactions since the early 1990s. A dot-com era Silicon Valley veteran, Britton’s legal career has included tours of duty in several major firms in San Francisco, New York City, and Tampa. In his third year out of law school, Britton founded the noted San Francisco technology law firm, Britton, Silberman & Cervantez, LLP, was later acquired. Britton has been a prominent voice for the cultivation of Tampa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem while maintaining strong roots in the San Francisco Bay Area’s emerging companies community.
Imteaz Ahamed works in the digital space for Reckitt, a multinational fast-moving consumer goods company based in London, UK. He was born in Bangladesh and did his studies in Australia. He started his career in Reckitt in Australia and has since worked across Europe and the Americas. He currently heads up Performance Marketing for Reckitt North America. At the tender age of 6, in the early 90's his father bought him a 386 PC for $3000, sparking a continuous curiosity about everything related to technology. Imteaz also invests and mentors early-stage startups & entrepreneurs from all over the world and is an avid fan of hackathons. He is also a StartupBus Mentor and Alumni - the most intense 72 hour startup hackathon in the world & shares his productivity hacks on his personal blog.
